Doppler Ser­vices

There is an exer­cise test facil­ity avali­able at no cost for all pub­lic and pri­vate patients. Cur­rently it is per­formed on site in the Ned­lands office.

The doppler test is designed to take the blood pres­sure of the patient before and after walk­ing on a tread­mill. The test is to assess the blood flow and strength for surgery. Vas­cu­lar test­ing is used not only to diag­nose vas­cu­lar prob­lems but also to fol­low up for pro­gres­sion of these disorders.

Vas­cu­lar Ultra­sonog­ra­phy Services

West­Coast Vas­cu­lar has a spe­cial­ist ultra­sonog­ra­phy ser­vice oper­at­ing from the Ned­lands office. If you would like to make an appoint­ment for a patient please call the office on (08) 9386 9855. All tests are bulk billed.

All types of Vas­cu­lar Ultra­sonog­ra­phy are per­formed with state of the art machin­ery and soft­ware. Reports can be sent elec­tron­i­cally or via mail, please advise when mak­ing an appoint­ment which you would prefer.

Ultra­sound scle­rother­apy and laser abla­tion Services

Treat­ments specif­i­cally for vari­cose veins will also be intro­duced to the prac­tice in 2011!

Hyper­hidro­sis

A com­pre­hen­sive hyper­hidro­sis treat­ment facil­i­ties are now avail­able from West­Coast Vas­cu­lar. We now offer sym­pa­thec­tomy, ion­tophore­sis and Botox injections.
